Vasseghi Budd proudly sponsored the WBADC’s Annual Dinner on October 6, 2021 at the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. The dinner was a celebration of the organization and the work accomplished in the 2020-2021 Bar and to honor the 2021 Woman Lawyer of the Year and the recipients of the Monica Parham Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award. Roya Vasseghi is currently serving her second three-year term as member of the WBADC’s Board of Directors.
Kellie Budd will be presenting at the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia’s webinar “Choose Your Own Adventure: Navigating Election of Remedies in the Federal Sector.”
The panel will be held November 15, 2021 at 5:30 pm.
Kellie will be presenting on the topic of remedies available to Federal employees, and the advantageous and pit falls of each forum.
Roya Vasseghi presents on public sector employment law at the Virginia Bar Association’s 51st Annual Conference on Labor and Employment Law.
Roya Vasseghi presented on 2021 Developments in Public Sector Employment Law at VBA’s Labor and Employment Law Conference in Virginia Beach on October 1, 2021. Roya presented on Virginia’s new public-sector collective bargaining statute and the potential impacts on localities in Virginia. Roya was also recently elected to the VBA’s Labor and Employment Section Council.
